Palau

Palau is well known as one of the most visually spectacular island destinations on the planet.  Situated in Micronesia, Palau is an archipelago of around 200 lush green and limestone islands surrounded by crystal clear blue water.  This is a scenic photographer’s paradise.  The stunning  Rock Islands Southern Lagoon, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a premier kayak location.
Palau has several great spots to throw a paddle in the water, and packages can be as simple as day excursions. For the more adventurous traveller there are camping and kayaking multi-day safari itineraries.
Visit Nikko Bay, surrounded by limestone walls, the calm waters and natural beauty will amaze. The various marine archways, caves and tunnels are a paddler’s dream come true.  Paddle the various sections of the famed Rock Islands, where you feel like you’re actually in a postcard.
For the paddlers looking for a real adrenaline rush, try a kayak tour to Tarzan Lake, where you will find some incredible marine life, but can also get your fill of vertical jumps and swings.
No trip to Palau would be complete without a visit to Jellyfish Lake, an inland marine sanctuary home to hundreds of golden and moon jellies. They’re perfectly safe to snorkel with for an underwater experience that is like no other.
